About School
Founded in October 2004, Happy Marian is an international bilingual kindergarten. It is located at No. 10, Lane 303, Huashan Road, Jing’an District, central Shanghai. It has convenient transportation and quiet condition. There are 7 classes with more than 110 children.
Management concept:
Our kindergarten aims to provide children with a caring, safe, happy and high-quality multilingual environment, and a children’s world full of fun, let them have fun, develop multiple intelligences and develop an international outlook.
Features:
Each class is led by a foreign teacher, a Chinese teacher and a nurse all day. According to the well-designed Kindergarten Based Curriculum and providing children with rich and diverse activities, the concept of “happy learning” is implemented through immersive mother tongue teaching.
The campus has eight teaching areas, namely: manners house, math burger, science window, reading train, magic slide, rainbow ship, wonder Island, and fancy kitchen Children are trained in etiquette, science and technology, mathematics and large and small muscles in these situational teaching areas. In line with the seasons or festivals, we will incorporate the theme into the curriculum, combine Chinese and western, and let children understand the connotation of Chinese and Western culture. In addition, happy Marianne teaching is guided by the unit theme and covers the overall learning scope of children’s all-round development from 3 to 6 years old with different breadth and depth. Therefore, it is not only to acquire the ability to use fluent American English, but also to obtain a complete preschool education.
The first “singing sentence teaching method” and “TP & MR” teaching method strengthen the connection between foreign language and behavior, so that children can easily lay the foundation of fluent oral English. Teaching methods enable children to acquire the ability to use foreign languages in practice. With the accumulation of “physical operation” and “situational learning”, children can easily construct the basis of cognition.
