ESL NEST values transparency and authenticity in our review system. Our platform is dedicated to providing teachers with valuable insights and authentic work experiences shared by fellow educators.

Reviews on ESL NEST are entirely anonymous, and we uphold strict confidentiality standards. Your personal information remains confidential, and we do not disclose any details.

To ensure the authenticity and relevance of reviews, we request that only individuals with direct experience working as teachers at schools in China contribute their insights. This will help maintain the integrity of our review system and ensure that our platform offers genuine perspectives from those who have firsthand knowledge of the teaching environment at schools in China. Please review the following guidelines before submitting your review.

Dos and Don'ts

Do:

  1. Provide honest and accurate feedback based on your personal experience.
  2. Use respectful language and tone in your reviews.
  3. Focus on relevant aspects such as work environment, benefits, and professional development opportunities.
  4. Write detailed and informative reviews to help others make informed decisions.
  5. Follow the Review Guidelines and ensure your review adheres to our standards.

Don’t:

  1. Submit reviews containing false or misleading information.
  2. Use inappropriate language or engage in disrespectful behavior towards others.
  3. Include personal attacks or defamatory remarks in your reviews.
  4. Post advertisements or promotional content in your reviews.
  5. Share sensitive or confidential information about individuals or institutions.
  6. Submit reviews for schools or employers you have not directly worked for or have no personal experience with.

Eligibility

To ensure the authenticity and relevance of reviews, we kindly request you to adhere to the following:

  1. Reviews should be written by individuals who have direct experience working as teachers at schools in China to ensure that the insights shared are relevant and authentic.
  2. Each individual can only write one review for each school (employer) they have worked for or are currently employed to help maintain fairness and prevent duplicate reviews.
  3. Reviews should reflect the personal experiences of the reviewer and should not include information or opinions from others. Please avoid writing reviews based on second-hand information.
  4. Individuals should only write reviews for schools where they have direct experience as employees.

Policy

We kindly ask you to adhere to the following policy when submitting your reviews:

  1. Use respectful and professional language in your reviews. Avoid using profanity, derogatory remarks, or any language that could be considered offensive or disrespectful.
  2. Focus your review on aspects relevant to teaching and employment at the school. This includes factors such as work environment, management, benefits, and overall satisfaction.
  3. Avoid making personal attacks or criticisms against individuals associated with the school. Reviews should focus on institutional practices and policies rather than specific individuals.
  4. Reviews should not contain promotional content, advertisements, or spam. They should provide unbiased feedback aimed at helping other teachers make informed decisions.
  5. Do not include personal information in your reviews, such as your own or others’ contact details, addresses, or any other sensitive information.
  6. Our platform is not intended for reporting criminal activity or internal company matters. Any reviews containing allegations of illegal activity will be removed from our platform.
  7. Ensure that your review is original and not copied from other sources.
  8. All reviews will be reviewed to ensure compliance with our guidelines. Reviews that are found to violate ESL NEST’s Review Guidelines will be removed by the site administrators.
  9. All submitted reviews and School Page content are subject to our Terms of Service.

Reporting Reviews

If you encounter a review with any of the following issues, you can report it anonymously:

  • Plagiarism: If the review seems copied from another source without proper credit.
  • Spam or Advertisements: If the review contains promotional material.
  • Inappropriate Language: If the review uses offensive or disrespectful language.
  • Personal Attacks: If the review contains attacks on individuals.
  • False Information: If the review contains untrue statements.
  • Personal Information Disclosure: If the review reveals personal details about individuals or institutions.
  • Irrelevant Content: If the review isn’t related to the school or employment experience.
  • Other (please specify): For any other issues, please specify when reporting the review.
