Founded in May 2000, Shenzhen Weiming school is a basic education development project of Shenzhen Hong Kong industry/university/research base cooperated by Peking University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Shenzhen government. Located in Nanshan, it is a boarding private school integrating primary school, junior middle school, senior high school and international senior high school. At present, there are 120 classes in total in primary school, junior middle school, senior high school and international senior high school, with more than 4,200 students. Founded in 2011, the international department is the first batch of pilot schools for educational internationalization approved by Shenzhen Education Bureau. At present, the International Department has fully introduced the well-known high school courses in the United States and SACE international high school courses in Australia. The International Department has trained more than 700 graduates.
