Vanke Meisha Academy is a high-quality international school organized by Vanke Education Development Foundation and entrusted to Shenzhen Middle school. Shenzhen Middle school is responsible for the education, teaching and management of Vanke Meisha Academy. Shenzhen Middle school appoints management team and some discipline teachers and it’s responsible for developing academy courses and sending a team of academic tutors to support the construction of academy courses. The two universities have deep cooperation in academic courses, teaching research, teacher sharing, extracurricular activities and other projects, so as to promote the deeper integration of the two universities on the road of educational internationalization. It is a private school approved by Shenzhen Education Bureau and has the qualification to carry out high school international curriculum experiment. The students aim to enter overseas universities for further study after graduation. Students who have been admitted by the academy through the middle school entrance examination and have completed the required credits of the Academy in three years of high school will be awarded the high school diploma issued by the competent department of education. The school respects the differences of students’ individual learning. There are only 20-25 students in each class, and attend different classes depending on their learning capability. The school implements the house management system and tutorial system. The house is a cross grade student organization, which cultivates students’ leadership through the guidance of elders and peers. Tutors provide one-to-one help and guidance. One tutor guides an average of 15 students. Founded in 2015, Vanke Meisha Academy sits in the beautiful scenery of Dameisha area of Yantian District, Shenzhen. Taking the IB International Diploma course structure as the framework, based on the Chinese national course to cultivate Chinese Patriotism, the solid Cambridge International Course and the American University Foundation course, and integrating the essence of four kinds of education, Vanke Meisha Academy has formed a unique international school-based curriculum system. In 2018, Vanke Meisha Academy was fully certified by the Western alliance of colleges and universities (WASC).
