Amber Montessori was formerly known as the Amber Montessori Continuing School in Jing’an District, Shanghai, which has been in operation for 7 years. Amber Montessori School is located at No. 607 and 619 Beijing West Road, Jing’an District, Shanghai. As a member school of the American Montessori Society (AMS), Amber Montessori has been teaching strictly to international standards. Amber Montessori recruits children aged 3-6. Amber Montessori has 3 classes with no more than 15 children in each class. The founder of Amber Montessori, Ms. Qiao Yin, strives to build Amber Kindergarten into a Montessori school featuring science and art. In 2017, Amber Montessori made three major reforms in the art curriculum, striving to make Amber Kindergarten a school featuring science and art. Amber Montessori introduced Mad Science science experiential courses; introduced drama workshops, launched the “Aesthetic Eyes” extracurricular program. Amber Montessori specially invited the art director of Vogue fashion magazine, as the fashion art consultant of Amber Montessori, to cooperate with fashionistas to introduce fashion art-related activities and courses. Teachers of Amber Montessori must be certified by AMS International Montessori Teachers, and be fluent in English and have a pure accent. After entering kindergarten, Amber Montessori’s teachers need to select topics to write teaching and research reports every month and conduct internal seminars.
