International School of Dongguan (ISD) was founded in 2012. The opening of schools aims to improve the level of urban education. International School of Dongguan (ISD) is the first international school in Dongguan approved by the Ministry of education, making Dongguan the fourth city in Guangdong Province to obtain the school running license of international schools after Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai. The school is located in Nancheng District, Dongguan City, with convenient transportation. The school covers an area of about 30000 square meters and a construction area of 12000 square meters. There are teaching courses in preschool, primary school, junior middle school and senior high school, and small class teaching is implemented. The ISD has a variety of outdoor teaching centers, such as basketball courts, outdoor cafes, and outdoor teaching centers with different functions. The campus network is fully covered to realize mobile multimedia teaching. ISD has 24 foreign teachers, 3 Chinese teachers and many Chinese teaching assistants.
