Since its establishment in 2000, the school has been adhering to the school running philosophy of ” scientific orientation, harmony and diversity, and perfection” and the educational purpose of “cultural compatibility, excellent knowledge and practice, relaxed personality and strong physique”, strengthening the core values of Ivy League people such as “rule awareness, responsibility awareness, self-awareness and innovation awareness”, and striving to cultivate Ivy League people who are “always upward, never give up and never end”.
The whole school has three levels: Junior High School Department, senior high school department and international department, 60 teaching classes and more than 2400 students. More than 200 teachers with middle and senior professional titles as the main force have formed a dynamic and promising teaching team. They are dedicated and promising, and won awards in national, provincial and municipal classroom teaching, papers, information technology and other competitions.
The school is based on a high position and has distinctive characteristics. Students have won more than 2000 awards in national, provincial and municipal discipline competitions. It has made great achievements in national provincial and municipal scientific and technological innovation competitions, aerobics, table tennis, robot competitions and instrumental music competitions. The mature school-based curriculum system and colorful student associations have built a broad platform for students’ diversified growth.
The results of the middle school entrance examination have always ranked first in the city. The students have won the first place in the middle school entrance examination year after year, and the top 15 in the city have always been included by our school. Since 2006, Xi’an Jiaotong University has become one of the nine famous universities in China. Since then, 16 students have been admitted to the youth class of Xi’an Jiaotong University.
The indicators of the third college entrance examination of senior high school ranked among the best in the city, and the top 10000 in the 2008 college entrance examination ranked first in the city. The 2009 session has cultivated the city’s top liberal arts scholar in the college entrance examination. In 2010, he achieved excellent results in the college entrance examination. The senior high school department won the first prize in the comprehensive evaluation of the education quality of ordinary senior high schools in Zhangjiagang.
The development of the international department is even more remarkable. Since the University officially obtained the qualification of “education and examination center” granted by the International Examination Committee of Cambridge University in 2006, 100% of the four graduates have been admitted by first-class universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, and other countries and regions. The average scores of all subjects in the 2009 session ranked first in the 12 A-level curriculum running centers in China. In 2010, the University signed an agreement with the Council of American universities. The University became a member of the Council of American universities and obtained the “AP course international high school code”, which provided a more convenient channel for our students to study in the United States and promoted the international education in the region to a higher level.
