About School
Founded in 2003, Ivy Education Group has established more than 17 Ivy kindergartens and schools in five cities in China, including Daystar Academy, Ivy international kindergarten, Ivy bilingual kindergarten and Ivy intelligences kindergarten. Since its inception, there have been more than 10000 students.
The student base is diverse and comes from 64 different countries. The teachers and staff are also international. They come from 32 countries and regions and are committed to serving our students for a long time. 25% of them have worked in Ivy for more than 5 years. This is the most passionate group of educators you have ever met.
A good school can make students get good grades; A great school can let students know their mission. Their motto is “courage, change, motivation”. The parents are not satisfied with just outstanding academic performance, but also firmly believe in the importance of character. Their students should grow into people who have the courage to pursue their ambitions. They should have the courage to make a difference in the world.
Ivy’s footprints and influence are all over the world. In Ahmedabad, India’s seventh largest city, we are supporters of the “design for change” movement, and we hosted the global “be the change” conference, where 500 students from around the world came to share their stories and how they brought positive changes to their communities. In Chicago, they were speakers at the national Chinese language conference. Together with our sister school, we shared with the participants their latest achievements in bilingual education. In China, they have organized two world seminars on multiple intelligences. The main speakers include Dr. Howard Gardner of Harvard University and other famous thinkers from Canada, Poland, Italy and China.
Ivy International kindergarten provides all English courses based on the theory of Multiple Intelligences for children aged 2-6. It is committed to teaching students according to their aptitude and developing children’s full potential.
In Ivy kindergarten, they will set up primary school preparatory courses for children in large classes. The purpose of this course is to enable children to better lay a solid foundation for promotion to local or international schools based on their mastered knowledge and skills. When the children graduated from Ivy kindergarten, they were ready to enter primary school in terms of independence, social ability and academic knowledge. Whether choosing international schools, local schools or overseas schools, the graduates of Ivy kindergarten can move smoothly and successfully to the next stage. Most of the children who graduated from Ivy international kindergarten will go to international schools or English schools in their own countries.
