Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School (LYBS) was founded in 1992. Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School provides high-quality education with Chinese sentiments and an international perspective for 6-18 years old students. Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School is located in the heart of Minhang District, Shanghai, with modern facilities on campus to support teaching, learning and community activities in an all-around way. As one of the only bilingual schools with dual IB primary and primary school certification in Shanghai, Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School agrees with the IB concept and began to explore the integration of the IB concept into the second-phase curriculum reform in 2016. The exploration of Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School proved to be very successful: in 2018, Liaoyuan Bilingual School became an accredited school for the IB-PYP Primary School Program; in 2020, Liaoyuan Bilingual School became an accredited school for the IB-MYP Middle School Program; in 2020, Liaoyuan Bilingual School became a candidate school for the IB-DP University Foundation Program.
