Suzhou Victoria Kindergarten, as the first Victoria in Jiangsu province, located in Linglong Bay Garden, No.1 Linglong Street, Suzhou Industrial Park District.is an International Baccalaureate certified school for pre-K to K3. Located within Bayside Gardens, Suzhou Victoria provides spacious outdoor playground, multi-functional hall, library, science room along with other advanced teaching equipment. The first kindergarten of Victoria (China) education group was founded in Hong Kong in 1965. It has a school running history of 56 years. It is famous for its continuous research, exploration and practice of advanced education methods. It has implemented the mother tongue and English bilingual teaching mode since the 1970s, which is deeply welcomed by parents. In 2004, Victoria was approved by the Legislative Council to fund the construction of a school building – Hujiang Victoria school, which became the first bilingual IB school in Hong Kong to provide “one-stop”. In 1998, in order to deeply promote the exchange of early childhood education ideas and practices between mainland China and Hong Kong, the first Victoria Kindergarten in the mainland was founded in Shanghai. At present, total of 10 kindergartens have been opened including 4 kindergartens in Shenzhen, 4 kindergartens in Shanghai, 1 kindergarten in Suzhou and 1 kindergarten in Hangzhou. Victoria implements the double head teacher system in Chinese and English to strengthen children’s bilingual ability.
