Wellington College Tianjin is located in the west of the south canal, the east of Dafeng road and the south of xinsantaoshi street. The architectural design of the project highlights the traditional “square court” characteristics of Wellington College and has the architectural style of Britain in the 19th century, including supporting classrooms, auditorium, indoor gymnasium, it classroom, swimming pool and kindergarten, with a total investment of 400 million yuan.
Wellington College Tianjin is a school with better international education standards for the children of foreigners living and working in Tianjin. The school will follow the teachers, teaching materials and teaching management mode of Wellington College. The school system includes middle school, primary school and kindergarten, and can recruit 1560 students aged 3-18. The school is expected to welcome the first batch of students in September 2011.
Wellington College Tianjin is one of the more famous male and female boarding private schools in Britain. The school is located in a village called Clausen in Berkshire, England, about 30 miles from downtown London, and the surrounding environment is quiet and comfortable. Wellington public school was founded in 1859 by Queen Victoria to commemorate the Duke of Wellington, who won the victory of Waterloo in the Napoleonic War in 1815. The queen founded the school in the hope of carrying forward the Duke of Wellington’s dedication to the country.
